About the Event

The Agilists4Sustainability community is holding their fourth Virtual Conference with the theme “Bridging Polarities: Harnessing the Power of Tension”.

For the next Agilists4Planet theme, we invite the community to explore the concept of bridging polarities as a vital skill for driving sustainability in a complex world. Polarities—such as good enough vs. perfect, short term vs. long term, pragmatic vs. principled, risk management vs. idealism, resilience vs. inaction, intrinsic vs. extrinsic motivation, and emotional vs. rational thinking—are not problems to be solved, but dynamics to be balanced

The planet is calling for our help and now more than ever we need a human centric approach, a “we” approach to these complex challenges, such as social, environmental, economic and so much more.

Are you curious about how you could contribute to a brighter future for humanity? Or are you already working on it and want to share your experience? Come join us on July 9 and 10 to get inspired by real-world stories, learn about impactful ways to use your skills, and solve problems together. We'll offer a refreshing mix of lightening talks, in-depth talks, and workshops.

Our Speakers 2026

Our speakers are diverse, both in areas of expertise and in where they live. Their stories, methods and ideas are all having a positive impact on planetary challenges, and we offer them a warm welcome, and a thank you for coming to share their insights with us. Thank you, for doing what you do, even in the face of adversity!

Our theme this year highlighted the many ways polarity is showing up in our world today - revealing diverse perspectives on the what, the why and the how we should handle them and ourselves in the difficult, uncertain times that we live in. We invite you to join us, with open hearts and minds, to see and hear our speakers diverse journeys and practises. Come along, and find out ways to have agency and take action, even in adversity and polarity.
